What SOC 2 Compliance Entails
The SOC audits are a set of compliance standards developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), a member network of more than 400,000 international CPAs. Designed to examine policies, procedures and internal controls of an organization, these audits test and report on these standards to certify compliance.
SOC 2 audits are conducted by a licensed CPA firm’s independent auditor.These required regular audits and the extensive ongoing exercises extend to all services an organization provides and ensure all customer data is secure and protected.
Through this process, Trinity added our own compliance manager to manage the process and work with our internal staff.
